Portfolio & Performance Manager

The CER Groupe is actively seeking a « Portfolio and Performance Manager » to assist the Executive Committee, the Business Units and the commercial cell in the planification, management and reporting of projects and activities of the Group.

Context of the mission

In this role, you will report directly to the CEO of the Group and have the following responsibilities :

• You provide a consolidated view of the portfolio of projects to the Executive Committee, you report potential sticking points and you suggest suitable solutions within the governance meeting that you manage.
• You compile and provide a performance monitoring dashboard to the Executive Committee.
• You ensure good flow of information and adequate planning, and you assist the project managers in the strict implementation of the project.
• You ensure the efficient link between the commercial request collected by the business developers and the teams within the Business Units, and you contribute to the proper planning of the deliveries to third parties according to the RACI of the commercial organisation.
• You are therefore in charge of the project management methodology used, you train the new project managers and you help them with the planning and implementation of their project(s).
• You suggest and setup IT tools responsive to project management and reporting needs.
• You attend governance project meetings according to the teams needs.
• You are in charge of cross-BU continued improvement projects.
• You actively attend the commercial Steerco meetings and the Commercial Committee meetings.

Profile that we are looking for

• You hold a scientific or technical higher education degree and you are trained to project management techniques.
• You have 5-10 years professional experience in companies where you were in charge of project management in complex and matrix environments.
• You are able to manage human relations in a wise and empathic way as well as popularize planning and project progress reports, particularly in the scope of the training sessions you will give.
• You are vibrant and ready to « set an example » to add credibility to your central position in project management.
• You have an excellent analytical mind, particularly to follow projects (duration, budget, content).
• French is your working language, and you have good knowledge of English which is frequently used.
• Assets in your application :
• Experience in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Project Management Certification such as PMP ou TOCICO (CCPM) or equivalent.
• Solid experience in a pharmaceutical R&D environnement for a good understanding of the field of activity and validation of the planning/implementation patterns.
• Knowledge of continued improvement methodologiessuch as APICS, Lean, Six Sigma. Certification in these fields is an asset.
