A Precision Agriculture Solution for Plant Pathogen Surveillance and Risk Assessment

CER Groupe Coordinator: Anne-Catherine Huet

The SENTRY project develops an integrated approach for the surveillance, prediction and management of plant pathogens across the agri-food value chain. It combines molecular diagnostics, metagenomics, environmental sensing, digital modelling and artificial intelligence with innovative phytosanitary solutions, including biocontrol, UV-C, nanobubbles, antimicrobial packaging and cold plasma. The project aims to support earlier, more targeted and more sustainable management of plant-health risks and postharvest contaminations.

Within SENTRY, CER Groupe brings its expertise in Food & Feed testing, contaminant analysis and analytical method development. Its contribution focuses in particular on mycotoxin assessment, the application of dedicated analytical methods, the integration of results into the project’s digital tools, and the validation of surveillance and intervention strategies under pilot conditions. These activities are aligned with CER Groupe’s mission to provide high-quality scientific and technical support in life sciences, agriculture and food safety.
