Considerable experience in animal food control

Food of animal origin control in Belgium is regulated through Belgian and EU regulations, as well as through taking into account OIE recommandations into account, and aims to provide a basis for food-safety assesment, authentification and disease control through sampling and analysis.

CER Groupe has considerable experience in animal food control and proposes validated and certified methods that align with current regulations for established analysis. Our team also offers to develop custom analyses for specific requirements, thanks to our flexible scope.

The scope of our main animal food control activities includes:

  • fish disease analysis (National Reference Laboratory)
  • trichina detection in boar, pigs, and horses (results within 24 hours of sample reception, except on weekends)
